how to care for Husbands-paris items ?

all the information about the care is written on the label inside your item and on the material card provided with your order

  • clean your suits, jackets, pants and coats quarterly
  • care for shirts is specific to each product based on the fabric (see the product page)
  • wax shoes regularly to maintain and nourish the leather

what does Husbands-paris offer ?

the house offers 2 typologies:

  • 2 ready-to-wear collections per year • these items are for the men’s wardrobes
  • the made-to-order tool allows you to design your own garments by customising the model, the material and the technical details • you can schedule an appointment in store or create your order via mto@husbands-paris.com

how to know your clothing size ?

our garments are made by craftsmen workshops, the measurements may vary slightly

  • to find the size that best suits you, please refer to the size guide on the product description of the item in question
  • compare these dimensions against your body measurements
  • if you need advice, do not hesitate to contact us via the contact page

is it possible to choose a different size of suit pants than the one by default ?

no, it is not possible • however, it is possible to customize the size, color, material and measurements of the jacket and pants of your suit

what should I do if an item is unavailable ?

on the product page of the item you want, select a size • if a product is available, then you will be able to add it to the cart • if it is not available, the size will be grayed out and you will not be able to add it to the cart • to be alerted in priority as soon as an item is available again, click on “create an alert” from the product page and enter your name and email address

  1. click on the missing size of the item you wish to be notified about
  2. click on “create an alert”
  3. enter your e-mail address to be notified when the item is available again

how often are sold-out items restocked ?

HUSBANDS CLASSICS items are restocked every six months, in early fall and early spring • the other items, from seasonal collections are restocked in fall and spring, from capsules can be restocked time to time – although, some garments are made of vintage fabrics and are therefore de facto limited editions • to be altered as soon as a piece is available again, click on « create an alert » from the product page and then indicate your name and email address

do you make clothes for women ?

some shapes can perfectly fit women with a small bust size

are there any discounts ?

Husbands-paris items are never on sale although, exclusive archive sales are organized from time to time you can be notified about the archive sales once you have subscribed to the newsletter

Is it mandatory to create an account to order on husbands-paris.com ?

you do not need to create an account to order on husbands-paris.com you can choose to order as a guest by entering only your email address or by logging in with your Facebook or Apple account

how to place an order ?

  1. from the menu, select a category and then filter your search to access the product page of your choice
  2. select the size of the items you want and add them to your cart
  3. check your cart and then click on « checkout » 
  4. select one of the four log-in options
  5. enter your billing and shipping information
  6. select the desired method of payment and confirm your order by proceeding with the online payment

Is it possible to add a personalized card to my order ?

it is possible to add a personalized card to your order at the time of the indication of the delivery address, in the notes sections write your message or mention “get a blank card” if you wish to write it yourself

can I request a gift package ? 

Husbands-paris does not offer gift wrapping however our pieces are carefully packaged

despite all the care taken into the preparation of packages and into your shopping experience, it is possible that some orders have escaped our vigilance or that of our carrier for any problem related to your order, do not hesitate to contact us via the contact page

I did not receive my order, what should I do ?

can I pick up my order in store and what supporting documents do I need to bring ?

it is possible to have your items delivered directly to the store (57 rue de Richelieu, 75002 Paris) with click and collect when choosing the delivery method, select the “click & collect” option when you arrive at the store, you will be asked to present the invoice as confirmation of your order as well as an ID corresponding to the name you gave when ordering

can I buy an item from your website in store ?

all products available online can also be purchased in our stores • to check the availability of a product in our stores, click on « find in store » on the product page • you can contact the stores or the Husbands-paris team via the contact page

what payment methods are accepted ?

our platform accepts the following payment methods:

payment in installments is possible with Oney and Paypal at free of charge

the transactions are made in euros (€) (includes France & European Union), in pound sterling (includes UK), & in dollar (global).

it is possible to pay directly by e-mail or SMS • Husbands-paris can, if you wish or if you encounter difficulties, send you a payment link to a secure online payment page

how does payment in installments work ?

payment in installments is possible with Oney and Paypal

Oney is a payment solution that allows you to pay in 3 or 4 installments for any purchase between 100 € and 3000 € with fees

  • in 3 times over a period of 60 days 
  • in 4 times over a period of 90 days

for payments with Paypal, you have the possibility of paying the amount of your order in 4 times for any purchase between 30 € and 2000 € without fees

how to access my invoices ?

you can download all your invoices in the “my orders” section of the “account” page • after each order placed, a digital invoice is sent to you by e-mail • you will find a paper invoice directly in your package

what are the conditions of use of the gift cards ? 

Husbands-paris gift cards are valid for one year from the date of purchase in stores and on husbands-paris.com

how to use my gift card ?

Husbands-paris gift cards are valid in stores and on husbands-paris.com • they can be used on all ready-to-wear items and on made-to-order 

To use a gift card, enter the code located on your card in the “gift card” section at checkout

my payment was rejected, why ?

your payment may have been declined or refused for any of the following reasons:

  • you encountered an internet connection problem during the finalization of the payment
  • your bank refused the payment
  • your 3D Secure authentication did not work
  • the information is not correctly entered

how secure are payments ?

for credit card payments, Husbands-paris secures your transactions with Stripe at the time of payment, you will be redirected to a fully secure page thanks to the HTTPS protocol the locked padlock means that the site is well identified and the encryption of the data transmitted is guaranteed by SSL Husbands-paris does not have access to your sensitive data, Stripe uses 3D Secure which protects merchants and buyers against fraudulent use of credit cards for more information, please visit the Stripe privacy page

for payments via Apple Pay, Husbands-paris secures your transactions with Stripe you will be asked to confirm your payment from your cell phone for payments via PayPal, your financial information is never shared with us, you pay using your email address and password directly on the PayPal secure platform

how are taxes administered ?

for orders in European Union, VAT is included in the price when applicable for orders outside of European Union, tax exemption is automatically deducted and import taxes are applied import taxes are automatically collected and paid by Husbands-paris each tax is applied according to the legislation of the country of shipment all orders are shipped on a DDP (duty and tax paid) basis. Therefore, all necessary taxes and import duties are included in the final purchase price. There is no customs duty on delivery of the order.

what are the delivery methods and rates ?

orders are delivered by an independent carrier (UPS) to the delivery address indicated at the time of the order there are three delivery methods; standard (includes all countries) express (for all countries) relay point (includes France, European Union, Switzerland, & North America)

  • we offer free delivery and return for all orders in France
  • we offer free delivery and return for orders over 250 euros within European Union
  • we offer free delivery and return for orders over 250 pound sterling in United Kingdom
  • we offer free delivery and return for orders over 500 dollars in the rest of the world
  • there are no delivery charges if the customer decides to choose “click & collect”, which is a service that allows customers to order online and then pick up their item in the Husbands-paris store located at 57 rue de Richelieu, 75002 paris

All orders are shipped on a DDP (duty and tax paid) basis. Therefore, all necessary taxes and import duties are included in the final purchase price. There is no customs duty upon delivery of the order.

Husbands-paris is committed to processing orders within 1 to 2 business days from the day you place your order.

it is possible to have your order delivered to a different address than the billing address when indicating the delivery address, check “the billing address is different from the delivery address” and enter the new billing address

I did not receive shipping confirmation emails, what should I do ?

you may have received your shipment confirmation email in your junk mail folder if otherwise, do not hesitate to contact us via the contact page with your order number

what should I do if I am not present the day I receive my order ?

if the chosen delivery method is to your residence while placing the order, you will receive an email from our carrier service UPS the day before delivery in which you are provided with an option to modify the delivery with options to;

  • redirect your package to a UPS relay point (applicable only for order to France, European Union, Switzerland, United Kingdom & North America)
  • delivery the package on another day

for the deliveries to UPS pick-up point you will have 5 – 7 days to collect your package you shall bring with you the package number and your ID card

RETURNS AND REFUNDS

how to return or exchange a product ?

the client can return or exchange an item up to 14 calendar days from the date of delivery of your order

the client must send an email to ‘contact@husbands-paris.com’. We will provide the shipping label. All items can be returned at the Husbands-paris rive droite boutique, 57 rue de Richelieu, 75002 Paris

the returns are free if the client reached the minimum amount to benefit from the free standard delivery (consequently, in France, returns are always free)

otherwise, the return costs are charged to the client by the same amount as a standard shipment

from France, European Union or the rest of world we use UPS

the client must return the product(s) in its/their original packaging with the packing slip
return all accessories accompanying the items Husbands-paris (buttons, felt etc.. associated)
make sure that the box is well taped before sending
print and stick the shipping label on the box

can I make a return to the store and what supporting documents should I bring ?

it is possible to return an item directly to the store at 57 rue de Richelieu in Paris • the item must be as per its original packaging, with all its documents attached • once in the store, you will be asked to show the ID related to the order placed • the refund will then be made using the same method of payment used at the time of purchase 

items that have been damaged, worn, stained or altered will not be accepted and will be returned to the customer, without refund

when will I get my refund ?

refunds are made within 7 days after Husbands-paris receives the order the amount will be refunded to the same payment method used for purchasing the completion of your return will be confirmed by e-mail

do I have to pay for the return’s shipping costs ?

the returns are free if the client reached the minimum amount to benefit from the free standard delivery (consequently, in France, returns are always free)

it is strongly advised to make an appointment online to design your made-to-order item in store, especially if you want to come on a Saturday you can make an appointment directly from our website using our online calendar

how long does it take to receive my order ?

made-to-orders are prepared within 14 weeks 

can the price of my garment vary depending on the details I choose ?

prices may vary depending on the material you choose style and options do not affect the price

once I have customized my item, can I save it and proceed to payment later ?

it is possible to save your made-to-order item once the customization is finished if you don’t want to buy it immediately • you just have to click on “save to my wishlist” on the summary page • you will then be able to find your made-to-order item in your wishlist

do I have to enter my measurements every time I place an order ?

when you have already created a special order, we store your measurements

can the measurements saved from my last order be used for other items in made-to-order ?

the measurements saved for the order of a jacket are not the same as those needed for a coat or a shirt • each category of items is specific • for more information about the measurements of special orders, you can contact our team at mto@husbands-paris.com or schedule an appointment directly on our website from our online calendar

can I use the measurements of an existing garment ?

the measurement can be done directly on yourself or on a garment • if you wish to take the measurements on one of your garments, you have the possibility to send the measurements by contacting us at mto@husbands-paris.com • this will help us adapt better to your made-to-order item to your specifications

how do you ensure that the measurements are consistent ?

when you create made-to-order item, you will be asked to fill in your measurements following a specific process • each measurement is taken to ensure that your piece fits your body perfectly

is there a fitting before/after the order ?

if you wish to proceed with fittings before and after your made-to-order, it must be done in our store, at 57 rue de Richelieu, 75002 Paris • fittings are not possible if you proceed with made-to-order online 

where is my creation made ?

all garments are designed in our Paris office and made in Europe

  • in Italy, coats, suits, jackets and pants

can I exchange or refund my product ?

made-to-order items are neither exchangeable nor refundable
